Ossia is a musical term for an alternative passage that one might choose instead of the original.  The word ossia is Italian for "alternatively" and was originally spelled o sia, meaning "or be it".

In our rendition, the c is silent.  It represents community, collaboration, cooperation, company, city, center, currency... See, it wraps itself invisibly around everything.  The addition of this strong but silent c is a simple gesture that symbolizes global connection.
